Lee Remarks on Drinking Policy

Subject

Student Culture

Description

In an interview with the Dean of student life, Brother Edward Lee, the interviewer asked Lee repeatedly about the rules surrounding alcohol on campus. At the time of the interview, the legal drinking age was 21, but would be lowered to 18 within several years. However, the students seemed to be concerned with the policy, and also inquired about the possibility of creating a 21 club, were any student of legal drinking age could join and drink together, which Brother Lee said would be acceptable, but would require initiative from the students to create it.
