Materials documenting the journey of St. Edward's University from its founding in 1885 as a humble private Catholic school to the present day’s world-renowned university. Items include administrative records, athletic records, president’s papers, university and student publications, the personal and professional papers of significant alumni and personnel, theses and dissertations, photographs, audio-visual materials, memorabilia, scrapbooks, clothing, and news clippings. The Archives were founded around this collection in 1958 by Brother Philip Odette, C.S.C. This collection also contains the records of: Maryhill College, St. Edward’s University High School, and St. Edward’s Military Academy.
