General

Interview Summary: Craige served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam and considers himself to be a Texan through and through. As a child, Craige spent much of his time exploring the southern Texas landscape, which helped foster his love for the natural world. Despite this, Craige became an economics major, due to its challenge and the opportunities it would provide for learning new things. His favorite teachers included Pete Vasoly and Jim Cook. During his time on campus, Craige worked as a cook in the cafeteria, which helped foster his love of cooking. The university provided him with numerous opportunities to challenge himself and opened him to new ideas. This interview was Craige’s first time coming back for a reunion at St. Edward’s!
