General

Interview Summary: Alison Elkins is a 2019 graduate of St. Edward’s originally from Mission, Texas. Alison studied abroad in Madrid, Spain while she worked towards earning her double major in English, Writing, and Rhetoric, and Spanish. During her time at St. Edward’s Alison was a part of Hilltop Hospitality, where she worked as a tour guide, and Phi Alpha Delta, the pre-law fraternity. Alison was most impacted by the people she met on campus, particularly the professors, and says that St. Edward’s helped her learn what kind of person she wanted to be. Her favorite study spots were in Ragsdale and Holy Cross Hall, and the benches surrounding the Sorin Oak. After a brief stint in Houston, Alison has moved back to the Austin area and works in the Human Resources department of the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
