General
Interview Summary: Prior to coming to St. Edward’s, Pat recalls the nuns at her high school in Chicago promoting the newly coed St. Edward’s University. However, she decided to go to school in Kansas before finally deciding to switch to St. Edward’s. Being among the first girls to be admitted to St. Edward’s, she recalls that it was definitely a culture shock for her. Despite this, Pat remembers how supportive many of her teachers were, including Brother Steven. She went on to get involved in Student Government. Pat and her fellow peers in student government were involved in voting out Maryhill and Holy Cross College and is very proud to be involved with that decision.
