General
Interview Summary: Al chose to go to St. Edward’s for its Holy Cross values. The university exposed Al to new ideas and even different religions. He remembered many of the different pranks students would pull, which included putting a goat in his room. Al was also involved in horseback riding and was able to keep his horse at the stables on campus.Though his major was education, Al realized after six weeks of student teaching that teaching was not his passion. Instead, he went on to become a firefighter for 33 years!
