General
Interview Summary: Eileen is originally from Montana. She began her college career at a Catholic school in Kansas, but was unhappy there and transferred to St. Edward’s her sophomore year. Eileen remembers the diversity on campus and appreciates the different perspectives the school provided, along with its emphasis on service. Eileen sets the record straight on how women first became a part of campus, a story much different than what is written about the topic. Being involved in student government, Eileen got to share and hear different ideas with her peers. Today, she lives in Ecuador and works with indigenous potters.
