General

Interview Summary: Originally from a small town in south Texas, Larry found his way to St. Edward’s in 1998. When he first came to the Hilltop Larry focussed on engineering, but after two computer science classes he decided to change his major. Larry remembers his professors being incredibly supportive, especially his math professor, Dr. McKemie. Larry worked for the majority of his time on campus. He had internships at the Computer Lab, the Help Desk, and even worked as a student ambassador to recruit at Texas high schools. Though his disability made some aspects of college life difficult, Larry says that he grew up at St. Edward’s. With time Larry found his place on campus, and he maintains an active role in the Alumni Association.
