Interview Summary: Ashley is an Austin native and, at the time of this interview, was a current student at St. Edward’s. Her favorite class was an education class that focused on the development of children’s brains. Through this class, she was provided the opportunity to tutor at an elementary school. Though she enjoyed teaching children, she found her true passion for technical writing and journalism through her classes at the university. She is a member of Hilltop Views and has a writing internship. She feels that the University is not only a place to learn, but is also a home.
