General

Interview Summary: Felecia Williams-Dennis began her college career at the University of Texas, and describes how life sometimes got in the way of her academic goals. She had a passion for Criminal Justice from a young age and often dreamed of being a police officer. Felecia was a part of the New College program, a program designed specifically for non-traditional students like her. At the time she was attending St. Edward’s Felecia was a single mom working full time, and admits she struggled to meet deadlines. Even so, she is grateful for the kindness of her professors and the flexibility New College provided. One of Felecia’s favorite spots on campus was in front of the Main Building, where she and her daughter spent lots of time together.
